As he took his 2nd and 3rd steps it appeared to Daniel that Bridge was constructed to exactly his dimensions. Almost as if it was built specifically for him.
After a few more unsteady steps, Daniel paused to take a few deep calming breaths and glance back at the ridge where he had stood but a moment ago. A thick fog shrouded the other side now, or had it been there before? Either Daniel could not recall or it had always been there and he had not noticed.
Mentally shaking himself, Daniel once more concentrated on the task at hand.
He was halfway across now and as he gazed ahead he saw the Bridge Builder waiting patiently for him at the other side. With a confidence that seemed to come from outside himself, Daniel began to quicken his pace.
15 more steps. 10 more.
'I'm almost there' he thought to himself as tears slid silently down his cheeks. They were the last tears he would ever shed...

This captures how our state of mind is often times...how kind God is to draw us to Himself and how amazing that we can trust His promise to wipe away every tear.
excellent observation. I was afraid that nobody would get catch that. Maybe I'm not in my own little crazy world after all :)
I like the narrow bridge compared to the wide path to the town and how the bridge seemed to be built just for him. The fog on the other side was also a nice touch. We don't realize how blind we are until where clear of the sin that darkens our hearts. I am definitely smelling what your stepping in.
